My Lamda Journey

Emma's passion for the performing arts is deeply rooted in her extensive background in dance, beginning at just 4 years old. After achieving notable qualifications in ballet, tap, and modern dance, her journey led her to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where she earned a Gold Medal in both Acting, Verse and Prose.

Her teaching not only enhances students' artistic skills but also boosts their confidence and communication abilities, profoundly impacting their personal and academic growth.

LAMDA's disciplines covered at Emma Jane Dance:

- Musical Theatre

- Acting

- Verse & Prose

- Public Speaking.

Classes are taught 1-2-1 or in groups up to a maximum of 3 students.

DANCING THROUGH LIFE

My Story

Emma's passion for dance began at the young age of 4 when she started studying ballet, tap, and modern at the Joanne Haylock School of Dance in Lincoln. Over the course of 15 years, she trained extensively and achieved Intermediate ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Advanced 1 in both Tap and Modern with the Imperial Society Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).

Not only did Emma excel in her training, but she also won numerous awards at dance competitions across the UK. Her love for dance led her to complete her professional training at Performers College in Essex, where she graduated with a Trinity Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Emma also obtained her ISTD teaching qualifications and earned a Gold Medal in both Acting, Verse and Prose through London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

After establishing a successful dance school in Suffolk, Emma joined babyballet™ Ipswich and then returned to her hometown of Lincoln in 2018 to establish babyballet™ Lincoln North. In 2019, she expanded her babyballet™ to Sheffield East.

In 2020, Emma took a bold step forward and rebranded her school as Emma Jane Dance in Lincoln. With her extensive training and experience, Emma has dedicated herself to providing exceptional dance education to children of all ages, and she looks forward to continuing to share her passion for dance with her students.
